What is SignCircle? - Our company and mission in a nutsell

”I really think the communication between players and clubs should be easier and more transparent than what it is at the moment.” - Eetu Rantanen CEO of SignCircle, 2020 spring

From that sentence started the creation of a company with a mission to change the principals of team sports permanently. Eetu teamed up with five friends from his volleyball career and they founded the company SignCircle in 2021. The need for SignCircle rose from the fact that players without agent representation could not control their careers as much as they should. Contacting other potential teams and figuring out their need for new players was practically impossible for agentless players.

That is why we created SignCircle Network!

Network is a browser application that allows players and clubs to register into the platform and search fo each other. A player looking for an opportunity in another club can browse for new clubs and check their roster for the next season. A club can effortlessly search through bigger masses of players and find ones that they didn’t even know were looking for a new club.

In the off season 2022, we had great success (no Borat-voice) with Network in Finland. Players and clubs were extremely happy with our application and with this feedback we were sure that Network could also operate in other countries and at the global level as well.

And that is our current mission: to expand Network to countries around the world.

In addition to our Network application, we offered consulting services for players in Finland with their off season situations. For example, we helped the players to check their contracts so that everything was in order, and they could focus on volleyball itself.

On top of this, we also started a collaboration with the Finnish volleyball league Mestaruusliiga and handled the announcement of new contracts in off season 2022 and created a database for people to go check the contract situations of different clubs. You can go check our database here.

So now you know a little bit of what is SignCircle and what we do.

Our main goal for the following year is to expand our Network application to other countries and get players and teams to join us on creating the #1 global platform for volleyball.
